Denim Preparation Equipment

McCoy-Ellison, Inc. has been providing equipment to the denim industry for many years. The heart of the ball warping system is their latest generation Model 680 Ball Warper. The Model 680 features dual AC vector drives to separate the traverse drive from the ball drive. This allows you to set the traverse ratio to the ball speed, which results in perfect yarn lay down on the ball, and is unique to McCoy-Ellison. The Model 680 is capable of operating speeds in excess of 500 MPM, an industry high.

    Additional Features:

  • Variable rate pneumatically controlled log hold down
  • Quick-change final guide trumpets
  • Controlled acceleration
  • Infinitely programmable lease settings
  • Capability to produce a 1.25 meter diameter ball.
  • Powered lease stand
  • Optional integrated turning roll.

Model 103 Long Chain Beaming System

  • McCoy-Ellison was the first to introduce a press roll to Long Chain Beaming to provide better quality and performance. In addition, the Model 316 tension stand incorporates a driven gear-reduction pre-tension system for the most uniform and consistent tension in the industry.
  • The 103 LCB system also utilizes another McCoy-Ellison exclusive, the Model 203 Horizontal Accumulator. Available in 30, 60, and 90 ft. capacities, it is the only "yarn friendly" system in the world for increased quality and production.

Denim Ball Warping System

McCoy-Ellison, Inc. has been providing equipment to the denim industry for many years. The heart of the ball warping system is their latest generation Model 680 Ball Warper. This warper incorporates unmatched technology to allow you the control of all the variables that are necessary to produce a perfect ball. No other ball warper has ever been produced with the Model 680’s features, such as dual AC vector drives to separate the traverse drive from the ball drive. This allows you to set the traverse ratio to the ball speed, which results in perfect yarn lay down on the ball. The ratio can be instantly changed when changing yarn counts. This feature alone has been proven to generate much greater efficiency in the beaming process.
Additionally, the Model 680 warper features a variable-rate pneumatically controlled log hold down, quick-change final guide trumpets, controlled acceleration, infinitely programmable lease settings, and capability to produce a 1.25 meter diameter ball.

The system is completed with a powered lease stand, optional integrated turning roll, and one of the following creels:

  • Model 10 creel with transfer capacity
  • Model 18 Creel with non-transfer capacity
